The Veggie Garden washable rug offers a symbolic gardening play activity for children to have fun at home and without getting dirty!

More like a fluffy cotton play mat than a simple rug, its surface hides small pockets where the included textile vegetables can be "planted". Its even-toned design, in the natural beige tone of the cotton fibre itself, combines several pile heights and multiple weaving techniques (cut pile, looped and chenille) for a mixed-texture finish, while its irregular outline gives an organic look to the rectangular shape of the piece.

It is accompanied by a cotton drawstring bag containing 15 pieces of handmade cotton canvas vegetables, combining carrots, radishes and cabbage leaves, which can be placed in the rug's pockets for gardening fun. Everything comes in a practical cotton bag with handles, printed with illustrations, which can also be used to store the rug.
